2021: No Dogs Left Behind

A screenshot of the Siberian Husky named River, whom I rescued last month.

About a month ago, I discovered this non-profit organization called No Dogs Left Behind.

Their mission is to rescue dogs from slaughterhouses in China, rehabilitate them, and ultimately have them all adopted into loving and secure homes. A lot of the dogs that this organization has rescued were going to be used for the meat-trade and other horrifying acts.

(Additionally, their mission has made me eat more plant-based meals.)

Recently, I adopted a four-year-old Siberian Husky named River (whom I’m eagerly awaiting for her arrival) and I hope that the rest of these dogs find a warm and abiding shelter!

Thus I’ve started a fundraiser and any amount helps!

If you’re looking to adopt a pet, please consider adopting from them! It may be a bit of a wait and costs more than the local shelters. However, adopting from them encourages and builds more animal rescue shelters locally.

Currently, they fly the dogs to the Los Ángeles (LAX) and New York (JFK) airports and they do offer transport to Canada and the UK.

If you cannot adopt at this time, please consider making a small donation. Thank you for your consideration. I hope you’re well and stay safe.  🙂
