Welcome to A Long Island Guide post!
Long Island is know for its nature trails and beaches. Plus, it has a rich, interesting, and even dark history. It was first inhabited by varying indigenous tribes, like the Algonquian, before the Europeans arrived.
Since I grew up here, I wanted to share with you my favorite places and things to see and do on this (non-tropical) island. So, I’ve compiled my past posts into this. I hope you enjoy!^^
It’s famous for its harbor and there is plenty of restaurants and things to do here:
- A Minimalist View of Avalon Park
- Avalon Adventures with Cookie Dog
- First Trail Adventure at Avalon Park
Have you visited Long Island before? If so, where? I hope you’re well 🙂
